Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of Benha University, witnessed the signing of a cooperation protocol between the university and Al-Safwa Higher Institute of Engineering aimed at training and updating the academic, leadership, and professional skills of human resources.
The protocol was signed by Prof. Jehan Abdel Hady, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research, and Prof. Mohamed Ahmed Khafagha, Dean of Al-Safwa Higher Institute of Engineering. The signing was attended by Prof. Yasser Hassan, the institute's Vice Dean for Education and Students, Prof. Naglaa Fekry, Executive Director of the Faculty Development Center at Benha University, Engineer Mohamed Faisal, Secretary General of the institute, and Mr. Shaker, the legal advisor to the institute.
Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy emphasized Benha University's commitment to implementing comprehensive packages of distinguished training and qualification programs to develop and update the academic, leadership, and professional skills of human resources, ensuring alignment with the challenges of the modern era and the labor market.
He added that the goal of the protocol is to establish a partnership and cooperation in implementing training programs in teaching methods, educational systems, research and scientific publishing, communication, group interaction, leadership, and university management. He pointed out that the university will select certified trainers, provide training content, and supervise the execution of training courses in collaboration with Al-Safwa Institute, in addition to issuing and accrediting training certificates.
Prof. Jehan Abdel Hady noted that the Faculty Development Center at the university aims to equip trainees with the necessary knowledge and skills to manage training sessions, familiarize them with the behaviors required of a good trainer, and prepare them for the training process, including selecting diverse training methods and evaluating and monitoring training outcomes.
Prof. Mohamed Ahmed Khafagha expressed his happiness with the cooperation protocol with Benha University, which aims to strengthen mutual collaboration in implementing training programs in the field of training, development, and human development.
Prof. Naglaa Fekry also expressed her happiness at signing the cooperation protocol with Al-Safwa Institute, confirming that the protocol targets training assistants and lecturers at the institute on training courses to enhance their skills in various fields.
