In the framework of the "New Beginning Initiative for Human Development": Benha University organizes awareness convoy on small industries and handicrafts at the Youth Center in Damanhour, Shubra El-Kheima.

Benha University continues to organize various convoys in the villages of the governorate as part of the President's initiative for human development, "New Beginning Initiative for Human Development," in collaboration with the Kalyobiya Youth and Sports Directorate.
This event was held under the auspices of Prof. Mohamed Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of Benha University, and Prof. El-Sayed Foda, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development, and coordinated by Ms. Rania Moataz, Assistant Secretary of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development, in collaboration with Prof. Walid El-Farmawi, Director General of the Kalyobiya Youth and Sports Directorate.
The Faculty of Specific Education and the Faculty of Applied Arts, under the supervision of Prof. Hani Shehta, Acting Dean of the Faculty of Specific Education, and Prof. El-Sayed El-Malki, Acting Dean of the Faculty of Applied Arts, organized awareness convoys that included a series of workshops to educate the families at the Damanhour Youth Center in Shubra El-Kheima about some handicrafts and their importance to individuals.
Models of simple and easy handicrafts were presented to the attendees, teaching them some of these cost-effective manual works, which included (hand embroidery and canvas) and how to create a wall hanging or a clock in a simple and easy way.
