President of Benha University Chairs the Board Meeting of the Quality Assurance Center

Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of Benha University, chaired the meeting of the Board of the Quality Assurance Center, attended by Prof. El-Sayed Fouda, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development, Prof. Jehan Abdel-Hady, Vice President for postgraduate Studies and Research, and board members.
During the meeting, Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy emphasized Benha University 's commitment to accrediting its faculties with the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education. He pointed out the ongoing technical support and organization of simulation visits to all university faculties to prepare them for institutional and programmatic accreditation according to the nature of each faculty and the number of its programs.
El-Gizawy noted that the Quality Assurance System at Benha University aims to continuously enhance the quality of academic, research, administrative processes, and community engagement in light of accreditation standards, achieving a competitive advantage for the university 's outputs and fulfilling its mission and goals.
For his part, Prof. Mohamed Ghanem, Director of the Quality Assurance Center, stated that the board discussed the status of the programs that applied for accreditation and presented the plan for accreditation progress for the academic year 2024/2025, along with statistics on projects submitted to the Project Management Unit at the Ministry of Higher Education.
He also presented the projects submitted by the faculties for international accreditation or for ABET, in addition to the plan for technical support, visits, and programs advanced for accreditation, and proposed training programs offered by the authority to ensure the quality of accreditation for faculty members.
The meeting also discussed the consolidated report of the control visits to the faculties during the first and second semesters of the previous year, and the center 's participation as a representative of public universities in the African initiative for coordinating quality assurance and accreditation across the African continent.
