Thursday: Opening Nominations for Student Union Elections at Benha University

Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of Benha University, announced the university 's preparations to start the student union elections for the academic year 2024/2025.
El-Gizawy indicated that a central committee has been formed to oversee the elections at various stages, along with subcommittees in the faculties to monitor and supervise the elections and address any obstacles faced by students.
The university president stated that nominations will open on Thursday, November 14, with preliminary lists announced on November 17. Appeals will be accepted on November 18, and they will be reviewed on November 19. Final lists will be announced on November 20, with the election campaign starting on November 21.
The first round of elections in the faculties, along with the counting and announcement of results, will take place on November 24.
He added that a runoff will be held on November 25, followed by elections for committee secretaries and their assistants at the faculty level on November 26.
Elections for the president and vice president of the student union at the faculty level will occur on November 27, concluding with the election of committee secretaries, their assistants, and the president and vice president of the university union on November 28, 2024.
