Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of Benha University, chaired a meeting of the Digital Transformation Board, attended by Prof. El-Sayed Fouda, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, Prof. Jehan Abdel-Hadi, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research, and Prof. Shady El-Mashad, Executive Director of Information, along with other board members.
Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy stated that the council discussed several reports submitted by the directors of units and centers for electronic testing, digital information networks, administrative information systems, e-learning, information technology, IT training, and the digital library.
El-Gizawy emphasized Benha University's commitment to directing digital transformation towards achieving sustainable development goals and providing training and education on digital skills for university members to enhance their understanding and ability to interact with digital technology.
Additionally, the council announced the launch of the "Rabet" application, which aims to automate administrative correspondence between the university's various sectors and faculties.
This initiative is intended to reduce the time it takes for these correspondences to reach and be executed by university sectors, as well as to assist decision-makers in the university in understanding the performance indicators of different departments in executing their responsibilities.
