President of Benha University Monitors the Start of Student Union Elections Activities

"El-Gizawy": Completion of All Preparations for Conducting the Elections
Dr. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of Benha University, monitored the start of the activities of the student union elections in the university's faculties for the academic year 2024/2025.
In the presence of Dr. Jehan Abdel-Hadi, Vice President of the University for Postgraduate Studies and Research, and Dr. Khaled Eissawy, General Coordinator of Student Activities at the university, the event took place in front of the Faculty of Arts with the participation and organization of the "Students for Egypt" family.
Dr. Nasser El-Gizawy confirmed that the university's faculties have completed their preparations for the student union elections, noting that a central committee has been formed to monitor the election process at its various stages, along with subcommittees in the faculties to oversee the elections and address any obstacles faced by students.
Prof. El-Gizawy urged students to participate in the student elections, emphasizing that they contribute to shaping their personalities, and highlighted the university's commitment to conducting the elections with complete neutrality.
the university president took a commemorative photo with the students, and a documentary film about the history of student unions was screened in the main celebration hall.
It is worth mentioning that the nomination process opened today, Thursday, November 14. The preliminary lists will be announced on November 17, followed by the submission of appeals on November 18, and examination of the appeals on November 19.
The final lists will be announced on November 20, with the electoral campaigning starting on November 21. The first round of elections in the faculties, along with the counting and announcement of results, will take place on November 24.
Additionally, a runoff will be held on November 25, followed by the elections for committee chairs and their assistants at the faculty level on November 26.
The elections for the president and vice president of the union at the faculty level will occur on November 27, concluding the student elections with the election of committee chairs, their assistants, and the president and vice president of the university union on November 28, 2024.
