Benha University Eye Disease Convoy Examines 345 Cases at Al-Azhar Institute in Al-Khosos

Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of Benha University, emphasized the university ' s commitment to continuously launching comprehensive Convoys to serve the local community by providing distinguished services in various specialties.
This initiative aligns with the national project for human development, "A New Beginning for Human Development" which aims to benefit citizens from all provided services.
Benha University organized a medical Convoy specialized in eye diseases at Al-Khosos Al-Azhar Institute (Primary and Preparatory levels). This event was coordinated with Prof. El Sayed Fouda, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development, and Mrs. Rania Moataz, Assistant Secretary of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development.
The Convoy was supervised by Prof. Mohamed El-Ashhab, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Benha University Hospitals, Prof. Nermeen Adly, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Medicine for Community Service and Environmental Development, and Prof. Amr El-Dakhakhni, Executive Director of Benha University Hospitals, in collaboration with Sheikh Said Khidr, Head of Al-Azhar Region in Kalyobiya.
The Convoy resulted in the examination of a total of 345 cases, the provision of 28 pairs of prescription glasses, and the referral of several cases for treatment at the university hospital.
