Under the patronage of Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of Benha University, the Quality Assurance and Accreditation Center organized a simulated visit for the advanced educational programs seeking accreditation at the Faculty of Specific Education.
The event was attended by Prof. Jehan Abdel-Hady, Vice President of the University for Postgraduate Studies and Research, Prof. Hani Shehata, Acting Dean of the Faculty of Specific Education, along with the faculty deputies, the Director of the Quality Assurance and Accreditation Unit, department heads, and program coordinators.
The review team included Prof. Mohamed Mohi Ghanem, Director of the Quality Assurance and Accreditation Center at Benha University, Prof. Nabil Abdel-Salam, Professor at Helwan University and expert in educational quality, and reviewer at the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education, Prof. Dalia Hussein Fahmy, Professor at the Faculty of Specific Education, Ain Shams University, and also a reviewer and expert in educational quality, and Prof. Tahani Rushdi, Professor and Head of the Department at the Faculty of Agriculture, and reviewer at the Quality Assurance and Accreditation Center at Benha University.
Prof. Ghanem pointed out that the visit aims to evaluate the achievements in the program accreditation standards for several programs according to the new program accreditation standards issued in July 2022, review the self-study, assess indicators and practical practices, observe teaching classrooms and laboratories, and meet with all internal and external stakeholders related to the programs seeking accreditation.
