In the Framework of the "New Beginning Initiative for Human Development": Benha University Organizes Educational and Awareness Campaigns in Shibin El-Qanater Villages

Benha University organized educational and awareness campaigns in the villages of Kafr Shibin and Menyat Shibin, located in the Shibin El-Qanater district.
This initiative is part of the Egyptian President' s human development initiative, "New Beginning for Human Development" and is in collaboration with the Kalyobiya Youth and Sports Directorate.
The event was held under the auspices of Prof. Mohamed Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of Benha University, and Prof. El-Sayed Fouda, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development. It was coordinated and organized by Mrs. Rania Moataz, Assistant University Secretary for Community Service and Environmental Development, in collaboration with Prof. Walid El-Farmawy, Director of the Kalyobiya Youth and Sports Directorate.
The Faculty of Specific Education and the Faculty of Applied Arts, under the supervision of Prof. Hani Shehata, Acting Dean of the Faculty of Specific Education, and Prof. El-Sayed El-Malqi, Acting Dean of the Faculty of Applied Arts, organized educational and awareness campaigns that included a series of workshops aimed at educating the residents of Kafr Shibin and Menyat Shibin about various handicrafts and their importance to individuals and society.
Participants learned how to start simple projects with low costs, were shown models of easy and simple handicrafts, and were instructed on how to produce and market these crafts. Additionally, seminars were held on topics such as "Enhancing Loyalty and Belonging Among Youth" and "The Role of Science in Building and Elevating Nations."
Several faculty members participated in the campaigns, including Professors Mervat Yassin, Alia Maghawry, and Hagar Ayman Shawky.
