Under the Auspices of Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of Benha University, the Quality Assurance and Accreditation Center at Benha University organized a simulation visit for the educational programs seeking accreditation at the Faculty of Science.
This event was attended by Prof. Jehan Abdel-Hadi, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research; Prof. Mohamed Heikal, Dean of the Faculty of Science; the faculty deputies; the Director of the Quality Assurance and Accreditation Unit; department heads; and program coordinators.
The review team included Prof. Mohamed Mohi Ghanem, Director of the Quality Assurance and Accreditation Center at Benha University; Prof. Fawzi Ali Ateibi, Professor at Cairo University and an education quality reviewer and expert from the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education; and Prof. Nevin Farouk, Professor and Director of the Quality Assurance and Accreditation Unit at the Faculty of Applied Arts and a reviewer at the Quality Assurance and Accreditation Center at Benha University.
Prof. Mohamed Ghanem indicated that the visit aims to evaluate the progress made in meeting the program accreditation standards for several programs according to the new program accreditation standards issued in July 2022. The review includes examining the self-study, assessing indicators and practical practices, observing classrooms and laboratories, and meeting all relevant internal and external stakeholders related to the programs seeking accreditation.
