Benha University Organizes Specialized Medical Convoys for Eye Diseases at Al-Azhar Institutes in El-Khosos

Benha University organized specialized medical convoys for eye diseases at Al-Azhar institutes in El-Khosos, as part of Mr. President's initiative for human development, "A New Beginning for Human Development."
This initiative was held under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of Benha University, and Prof. El Sayed Fouda, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development, with coordination and organization by Mrs. Rania Moataz, Assistant Secretary of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development.
The convoy was supervised by Prof. Mohamed El-Ashhab, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Benha University Hospitals, Prof. Nermin Adly, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Medicine for Community Service and Environmental Development, and Prof. Amr El-Dakhakhni, Executive Director of Benha University Hospitals, in collaboration with Sheikh Saeed Khodr, Head of the Al-Azhar Region in Qalyubia.
The convoy resulted in the examination of a total of 167 cases, the provision of 22 pairs of eyeglasses, and the referral of 6 cases for treatment at the university hospital.
