Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of Benha University, emphasized the importance of the University Career Development Centers project to support students and graduates by equipping them with the necessary skills to meet labor market demands through various important training programs.
This statement came during his chairing of the Board of Directors meeting for the Career Development Center, attended by Prof. Jehan Abdel-Hadi, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research, Prof. Gamal Abdel Aziz, Acting Dean of the Faculty of Engineering in Shubra, Ms. Sherine Shawky, Secretary-General of the University, Dr. Sahar Abdel Rahman, Director of the Career Development Center at the Faculty of Engineering in Shubra, and Mrs. Rania Moataz, Assistant Secretary of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development.
Also present was a team from the American University, including Ms. Maha Fakhry, Executive Director of the University Career Development Centers Project, Ms. Wafaa Bakheet, Deputy Executive Director of the University Career Development Centers Project, and Ms. Mariam Al-Gabi, Project Manager of the Career Development Center at Benha University.
Prof. El-Gizawy explained that the meeting discussed several important topics, including the center's training plan in collaboration with the American University, reviewing the outcomes of the roundtable held last October, and ways to enhance cooperation with various companies and institutions to support the development of professional skills through signed memoranda of understanding.
