A delegation from Benha University participated in the events of the seventh coordinating forum for units of violence against women at Egyptian universities, held at one of the major hotels in Cairo.
This forum was organized by the National Council for Women, the United Nations Population Fund, and the Korean International Cooperation Agency, under the auspices of Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of the University, and Prof. El-Sayed Foda, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, with coordination by Mrs. Rania Moataz, Assistant Secretary of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development.
The university delegation included Prof. Nevin Sayed Abdel-Sabour, Director of the Unit against Violence, and Prof. Karima El-Hosari, a member of the Unit of Violence against Women.
Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy confirmed that the university's commitment to participating in the forum aims to discuss the key role that the unit at Benha University plays in combating violence against women and providing a safe and supportive environment for women and girls in work and education at the university.
He pointed out that this aligns with the state's efforts to empower women in various economic, social, cultural, and political fields, to achieve sustainable development and support Egypt's Vision 2030.
