Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of Benha University, received Prof. Stratos Georgoulas, Vice President of Aegean University in Greece for International Relations, to discuss ways to enhance mutual cooperation between the two institutions in various fields.
The meeting was attended by Prof. Jehan Abdel-Hadi, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research, and Prof. Abdel-Fattah Mungid, Executive Director of the International Relations Office.
Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy emphasized that the visit reflects Benha University's commitment to engaging with the world by strengthening cooperation and forming partnerships with major global universities, which opens new horizons for scientific and research collaboration in priority areas.
Prof. Jehan Abdel-Hadi held a meeting with the Vice President of Aegean University to discuss aspects of collaboration between the two universities, including student exchange, joint projects, and dual degree programs.
Prof. Jehan Abdel-Hadi highlighted that discussions included enhancing academic partnerships in various fields such as environmental studies, communication systems, business management, cultural informatics, product design, food and nutrition sciences, educational design, geography, transportation, social sciences, mathematics, and Mediterranean studies, stressing the importance of expanding academic and research cooperation.
Aegean University is considered one of the leading universities in Greece, ranking 126th in the Southern European universities classification for 2025.
