Celebrating World Children's Day: A Workshop for Children Titled

As part of the visual identity project for the governorates and in celebration of World Children's Day, and under the auspices of Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of Benha University, the university is organizing a workshop for children and youth in collaboration with "Children's University" aimed at enhancing the visual identity of Kalyobiya Governorate for future generations, titled "The Child and the Rooting of Egyptian Identity," which will take place on Saturday, November 30, 2024.
This initiative aligns with the "New Beginning" initiative for human development, where participating children will be introduced to the concept of visual identity and how the built environment contributes to creating a connection between humans and their surroundings.
Workshop Activities:
• Practical application using collages art to gather visual elements from Kalyobiya Governorate in a hands-on activity (Poster Design).
• Transforming the work into a more professional artistic product using artificial intelligence (AI Image Variation).
Prof. Mena Allah El-Hosseiny, Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Engineering, Cairo University, and a member of the International Union of Architects for the public health and architecture programs for children, and founder of the "Children's Creativity Lab" initiative, will participate in the workshop with her team.
This workshop aims to foster creativity and deepen children's understanding of their cultural identity through interactive activities.
