Omar Al-Shabrawy Elected President of the Student Union at Benha University, and Abdel Wahab Hamdi as Vice President

Benha University, under the leadership of Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy, announced the results of the 2024 student union elections for the faculties, appointing Omar Mohamed Al-Shabrawy, a student at the Faculty of Physical Therapy, as the President of the Student Union at Benha University, and Abdel Wahab Mohamed Hamdi, a student at the Faculty of Sports Sciences, as the Vice President.
This announcement was made in the presence of Prof. Jehan Abdel Hadi, Vice President of the University for Postgraduate Studies and Research, Prof. Khaled Eissawy, General Coordinator of Student Activities at the University, and members of the student election committee.
The President of Benha University emphasized that student unions carry a responsibility and a message that must be fulfilled, and they prepare students to be responsible and ambassadors for their university.
He pointed out that student unions provide an opportunity to build leadership qualities and enhance their creative abilities, loyalty, and belonging to the Egyptian state.
Prof. El-Gizawy explained that the university provides all support for student unions and activities to promote a culture of teamwork and a love for volunteer work, stressing that our policy within the university is open communication between all university leaders and students.
Omar Al-Shabrawy, President of the Student Union at Benha University, expressed his happiness at winning the student elections, affirming that he, along with his colleagues, will strive to increase the activities in the faculties and organize seminars and training courses in various fields.
