Benha University Organized a Veterinary Convoy in Al-Shomout Village

Benha University continued to organize various Convoys in the villages of the governorate as part of Mr. President's initiative for human development, "A New Beginning for Human Development."
This event was held under the auspices of Prof. Mohamed Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research; Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of Benha University; and Prof. El-Sayed Fouda, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development. The Convoy was coordinated and organized by Mrs. Rania Moataz, Assistant Secretary of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development.
The Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, under the supervision of Prof. Amani Abbas, and Prof. Ashraf Awad, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, collaborated with Prof. Lamiaa Atiya, Director of the Veterinary Directorate in Kalyobiya, to organize a veterinary Convoy in Al-Shomout Village. This included participation from veterinarians at the educational veterinary hospital and several faculty members and their assistants from the departments of "Surgery, Anesthesia, and Radiology - Animal Medicine - Obstetrics, Reproduction, and Artificial Insemination - Poultry and Rabbit Diseases."
The Convoy provided free examinations and treatment for 120 cases of cattle and buffalo, 13 cases of sheep and goats, 7 cases of horses, 1 case of pets, 50 ultrasound cases, and 850 cases of poultry.
