Benha University organized a specialized medical Convoy for eye diseases at Al-Azhar Primary Institute in Shibin Al-Qanater, as part of Mr. President's initiative for human development, "A New Beginning Initiative for Human Development."

• Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of Benha University
• Prof. El Sayed Fouda, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development
• Organized by Mrs.Rania Moataz, Assistant Secretary of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development

• Prof. Mohamed El-Ashhab, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Chairman of the Board of Benha University Hospitals
• Prof. Nermin Adly, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Medicine for Community Service and Environmental Development

• Number of cases referred for treatment at the university hospital: 12 cases
