As Part of "A New Beginning Initiative for Human Development": Benha University Organized a Veterinary Convoy in Emiyay Village

Benha University continued to organize various Convoys in the villages of the governorate as part of Mr. President's initiative for human development, "A New Beginning Initiative for Human Development."
This was conducted under the auspices of Prof. Mohamed Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Prof. Nasser Al-Gizawy, President of Benha University, and Prof. El-Sayed Fouda, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development, with coordination and organization by Mrs. Rania Moataz, Assistant Secretary of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development.
The Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, under the supervision of Prof. Amani Abbas, Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, and Prof. Ashraf Awad, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, organized a veterinary Convoy in Emiyay Village in collaboration with Prof. Lamiaa Atiya, Director of the Veterinary Medicine Directorate in Kalyobiya. The Convoy included participation from veterinarians at the educational veterinary hospital of the faculty, along with several faculty members and their assistants from the departments of "Surgery, Anesthesia, and Radiology - Animal Medicine - Obstetrics, Reproduction, and Artificial Insemination - Diseases of Birds and Rabbits."
Services Provided by the Convoy Cows and Buffalo:
• Free examinations and treatments for 50 cases
Sheep and Goats:
• Free examinations and treatments for 8 cases
Working Animals:
• Free examinations and treatments for 3 cases
Ultrasound:
• Free ultrasound services for 20 cases
Poultry:
• Free examinations and treatments for 2,115 cases
