Vice President of Benha University for Postgraduate Studies Received the Program Accreditation Team for the Faculty of Arts

Under the auspices of Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of Benha University, Prof. Jehan Abdel Hady, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research, received the external review team for program accreditation from the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education, headed by Prof. Maha Anwar Ali Hassan. This visit is part of the procedures for the Faculty of Arts to obtain accreditation for four academic programs.
The meeting was attended by Prof. Amjad Hegazy, Dean of the Faculty of Arts; Prof. Mohamed Ghanem, Director of the Quality Assurance and Accreditation Center at the university; as well as the faculty' s deputies, department heads, and program coordinators.
Prof. Jehan Abdel Hady emphasized Benha University' s commitment to adopting effective quality and accreditation systems and practices, which reflect positively on supporting and developing the educational process. She noted that these efforts align with quality standards aimed at enhancing the institutional and academic reputation of the university. She highlighted that the university administration has provided all necessary resources and needs for the colleges seeking accreditation for their academic programs from the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education.
Prof. Mohamed Ghanem mentioned that the programs seeking accreditation in the Faculty of Arts include the English Language Program, Psychology Program, Library and Information Program, and Sociology Program. He pointed out the university' s commitment to continuing its efforts in applying all quality standards.
He added that the external review team for the Faculty of Arts will visit the programs seeking accreditation according to a specific schedule to assess practical practices, activities, and documents related to program accreditation, as well as conduct interviews with all targeted groups, including college and program leaders, faculty members, students, administrative staff, graduates, and community stakeholders.
They will also inspect the infrastructure, laboratories, workshops, and teaching halls.
The visit of the external review team from the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education to the Faculty of Arts will continue from December 15 to 17.
