Medical Convoy at Benha University Examined 445 Cases at Al-Azhar Institute in Kafr Sheikh Ibrahim

Benha University organized a specialized medical Convoy for eye diseases at the primary Al-Azhar Institute in Kafr Sheikh Ibrahim, located in the Benha Center.
This initiative is part of Mr. President's initiative for human development, "A New Beginning for the Human Development." The event was held under the auspices of Prof. Mohamed Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research; Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of Benha University; and Prof. El-Sayed Foda, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development.
It was coordinated and organized by Mrs. Rania Moataz, Assistant Secretary of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development.
The Convoy was supervised by Prof. Mohamed Al-Ashhab, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Benha University Hospitals; Prof. Nermin Adly, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Medicine for Community Service and Environmental Development; and Prof. Amr Al-Dakhakhni, Executive Director of Benha University Hospitals, in collaboration with Sheikh Said Khidr, Head of Al-Azhar Region in Kalyobiya.
The Convoy resulted in the examination of a total of:
• 445 cases,
• The provision of 11 pairs of glasses, and
• The referral of 11 cases for treatment at the university hospital.
