Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of Benha University, and Eng. Ayman Attia, Governor of Kalyobiya, received Prof. Khan Bulukhov, Ambassador of Azerbaijan in Cairo, to discuss avenues for academic cooperation between the university and the embassy.
The meeting was attended by Prof. El-Sayed Fouda, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development, Prof. Jehan Abdel-Hadi, Vice President of the University for Postgraduate Studies and Research, Prof. Amjad Hijazi, Dean of the Faculty of Arts, and Prof. Seymur Nasirov, Head of the Azerbaijani Community in Egypt.
The meeting began with Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy welcoming the Azerbaijani Ambassador, expressing his happiness with his presence at Benha University, and emphasizing the university's commitment to opening up to the world by strengthening cooperation and forming partnerships with various institutions.
The President noted that the discussion focused on joint cooperation between the university and the embassy, especially regarding academic aspects and teaching the Azerbaijani language to non-native speakers.
Prof. El-Gizawy also mentioned that the meeting addressed various proposals that the university could offer in this regard.
Eng. Ayman Attia highlighted the deep fraternal relations between Egypt and Azerbaijan, emphasizing his continuous support for strengthening the bonds of friendship and cooperation between the two countries.
Prof. Khan Bulukhov expressed his admiration for Benha University, stating his happiness with the visit and his eagerness for further fruitful cooperation with the university.
