During his presidency of the Benha University Council: Prof. "Al-Gizawy": Providing a suitable environment for students to take exams and announcing the results of the first semester by the end of January.

The Benha University Council held its meeting chaired by Prof. Nasser Al-Gizawy, President of Benha University, with the presence of:
• Prof. El-Sayed Fouda, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development,
• Prof. Jehan Abdel-Hadi, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research, and esteemed members of the University Council.
Prof. Nasser Al-Gizawy began the session by congratulating Prof. Karam Gouda on the trust of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and the issuance of a presidential decree appointing him as Dean of the Faculty of Computers and Artificial Intelligence. He also congratulated Prof. Zainab Faisal on the trust of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi for her appointment as Dean of the Faculty of Engineering in Benha, wishing them both continued success in their new roles.
He thanked Prof. Fahmy Abdel Halim, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Engineering in Benha, in appreciation of his efforts during his time as Acting Dean of the faculty.
Prof. Nasser Al-Gizawy also congratulated the Egyptian people and university staff on the occasion of the start of the new calendar year, wishing everyone a happy year.
He also congratulated Omar Al-Shabrawi, President of the Student Union, and his deputy Abdel Wahab Hamdi for their victory in the student union elections, emphasizing the university' s commitment to providing all support for student unions and activities, and continuous communication to promote a culture of teamwork and love for volunteer work and to enhance their awareness.
The university president reviewed the preparations for the first semester exams across various faculties, which began on December 21 and will continue until the end of January, according to the academic calendar for the year 2024/2025. He highlighted the importance of daily correction processes and announcing the results of the first semester by the end of January, as well as opening the door for grievances for one week after the results are announced, in accordance with the rules set by the University Council.
Prof. Nasser Al-Gizawy confirmed the university administration' s commitment to continuously monitoring the smooth conduct of exams and providing all means of comfort for students, ensuring all necessary services to guarantee safe and orderly exams, and creating a secure environment suitable for students to take their exams.
Prof. Al-Gizawy directed to raise the state of emergency in all departments and medical clinics in the faculties to deal with any emergencies, especially with the onset of winter and the constant change in temperatures, ensuring the availability of medications, medical supplies, and first aid to provide health services to students during the exam period.
Prof. Al-Gizawy emphasized the necessity of implementing the plan for student activities and utilizing the mid-year break to hold seminars, events, and various awareness activities to benefit from the energies of youth, fostering a sense of belonging and loyalty among them, and continuing to support and discover talented students in various fields.
Prof. Al-Gizawy also stressed the need to prepare the academic schedules for the second semester and upload them to the Ibn Al-Haytham system by January 30 at the latest, so that students can register for their courses, ensuring the continuity of the educational process.
the university president reviewed several events and activities that have been implemented in various sectors during the past period and presented a report on the university' s participation in the President' s initiative for human development, "A New Beginning for the Human Development." This included:
• Organizing 33 medical convoys that provided medical examinations for 5,129 cases,
• organizing 26 awareness and educational convoys benefiting 2,705 cases, as well as
• organizing 22 family guidance convoys, 13 veterinary convoys, 11 sports convoys,
• 3 agricultural convoys, and
• 19 workshops for handicrafts.
