Engineer Ayman Attia, the Governor of Kalyobiya, accompanied by Prof. Nasser Al-Gizawy, President of Benha University, and Major General Abdel Fattah Al-Qassas, Director of Kalyobiya Security, attended the Christmas Mass at the Virgin Mary Church in Benha City, in the presence of several security, executive, popular, and religious leaders in the governorate.
His Grace Bishop Maximus, Bishop of Benha and Quesna, delivered a sermon about the birth of Jesus Christ, emphasizing the national unity that characterizes Egypt and its people. He pointed out that our unity aims at connection, brotherhood, and adherence to the religious principles and values that advocate peace and love, which are hallmarks of Egyptians, and that our homeland remains a symbol of love and peace.
The Governor of Kalyobiya and his companions extended their congratulations to the Coptic brothers on the occasion of the glorious Christmas, expressing their heartfelt wishes for a happy holiday and for security and safety to prevail, and for our beloved Egypt to be protected. He emphasized the importance of national unity that distinguishes Egyptians and through which true development is achieved in various fields.
The President of the University affirmed Benha University’'s commitment to participating with the Coptic brothers in celebrating their holidays, confirming the feelings of brotherhood, national spirit, and tolerance that characterize the Egyptian people.
He prayed that these holidays would be a great opportunity to spread values of tolerance and affection among the citizens of one nation.
