Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of Benha University, chaired the annual management review meeting for the integrated quality, safety, and occupational health system.
The meeting was attended by Prof. El-Sayed Fouda, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development, Prof. Jehan Abdel-Hady, Vice President of the University for Postgraduate Studies and Research, Prof. Abdel-Kader Abdel-Karim, General Coordinator of Quality at the University, Prof. Mahmoud Al-Zablawi, Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, Mrs. Sherine Shawky, University Secretary, Prof. Ibrahim Rajeh, Director of the Crisis and Disaster Management Unit, Prof. Mohamed Shibl, Supervisor of the Engineering Administration, Prof. Shady Al-Mashad, Executive Director of Information at the University, Mr. Refaat Nan, Assistant University Secretary for Administrative Affairs, Mrs. Rania Moataz, Assistant University Secretary for Community Service and Environmental Development, along with the general directors of various departments.
Prof. El-Gizawy emphasized that the university is working to achieve administrative quality while providing a safe working environment for employees and service beneficiaries from the university departments.
This is to ensure the continuity of the integrated quality, safety, and occupational health system certifications, namely ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018. He pointed out that the university is keen on overcoming all obstacles to improve the administrative system and transition towards a smart university.
He stressed the importance of activating the training plan to enhance the skills of administrative leaders and staff to achieve the highest levels of administrative quality within the university.
Prof. Abdel-Kader Abdel-Karim noted that the management review meeting is held annually to ensure the adequacy and suitability of the integrated quality, safety, and occupational health system within the university departments, as well as to assess the effectiveness of the quality system and measure customer satisfaction among university visitors. He mentioned that this meeting is in preparation for the upcoming evaluation visit by the granting body's assessment team in February, aimed at obtaining the continuity of ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018 certifications for the coming year.
