Hackathon Details:
• Sponsorship: Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of Benha University, announced the sponsorship of the Innovators and Talents Support Fund for the activities of the "Smart Education" Hackathon under the slogan “Artificial Intelligence Applications: Egypt's Digital Future” in February 2025, in collaboration with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
Objectives of the Hackathon:
• Support digital transformation.
• Achieve Egypt's 2023 vision.
• Enhance innovation and encourage creative youth in Egyptian universities and institutes to present innovative solutions in areas such as:
• Remote education
• Interactivity in education
• Flexible educational tools
• Language learning platforms
• Gamifying learning
• Learner support systems
• Data analysis for education
Prizes:
• The financial prizes for the Hackathon have been doubled, reaching a total of 280,000 EGP distributed across 7 tracks:
• 1st Place: 20,000 EGP
• 2nd Place: 12,000 EGP
• 3rd Place: 8,000 EGP
