Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of Benha University, and Prof. Haitham El-Sheikh, Member of the Board of Trustees of the Youth Coordination of Political Parties and Head of the Coordination Committee, signed a cooperation protocol between the two parties. This is part of the vision of Benha University and the coordination to increase political and social awareness among students and to enhance community and service work between the two sides.
The delegation from the coordination included:
• MP Amr Darwish,
• MP Amira El-Adly,
• MP Eng. Mohamed Ismail,
• MP Dr. Rasha Fayez,
• MP Marcel Samir, and
• Prof. Mohamed El-Sayed, a member of the Youth Coordination of Political Parties.
This took place in the presence of :
• Prof. El-Sayed Fouda, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development,
• Prof. Jehan Abdel-Hady, Vice President of the University for Postgraduate Studies and Research,
• Mrs. Sherine Shawky, University Secretary,
• Mrs. Rania Moataz, Assistant University Secretary for Community Service and Environmental Development, and journalist
• Ibrahim Gouda, the university's media officer.
Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy emphasized Benha University's commitment to enhancing cooperation and coordination between the university and all state institutions to develop and enhance human resource capabilities, contributing to achieving Egypt's vision for human development according to "Egypt 2030."
Prof. El-Gizawy pointed out that the protocol aims to establish the principle of institutional partnership to achieve community awareness, maximize the benefits of the competencies of both parties, participate in various political and community awareness campaigns, and expand their impact and effectiveness through the Leadership Preparation Center at the university. It also aims to organize events and seminars in the fields of development and awareness.
The university president added that the protocol also aims to collaborate in reviewing and studying legal materials and legislation that may affect the field of higher education, organize simulation models, participate in community dialogue sessions, and cultural salons organized by the university, support the new Benha University Hospital, and work on qualifying student unions and international students for public work.
Prof. Haitham El-Sheikh added that the coordination will work on promoting the university's efforts and programs across various media platforms related to the coordination, organizing multiple events in personal development and skills training aimed at empowering university students to acquire the knowledge and skills necessary for their personal and professional success, in addition to organizing educational and awareness seminars for university students to increase their social awareness.
