Under the patronage of Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of Benha University, and Prof. El-Sayed Foda, Vice President for Environmental Affairs and Community Service, the Community Service and Environmental Development Sector, in coordination with Prof. Ibrahim Ragih, Executive Director of the Crisis and Disaster Management Unit at the university, organized a workshop to prepare for the implementation of a simulation of the university administration evacuation plan at the "Security Administration Building – Youth Care Building."
This event was attended by Prof. Abdelkader Abdel Kareem, Coordinator of the Administrative Quality Systems Unit, and Mrs. Rania Moataz, Assistant Secretary of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development.
The workshop emphasized the importance of studying crisis and disaster management and conducting periodic simulations of evacuation plans. It also included practical training on the use of fire extinguishers and water firefighting systems.
The workshop received wide acceptance from the participating staff, some of whom proposed suggestions to generalize training and awareness operations within departments and offices to increase the targeted training audience.
