Benha University President Opened "Strategic Planning for Colleges and Institutes of Higher Education" Course

Prof. Nasser El Gizawy, President of Benha University, inaugurated the course titled "Strategic Planning for Colleges and Institutes of Higher Education," organized by the Quality Assurance and Accreditation Center of the university in collaboration with the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education. The course includes a series of training programs as part of the external review package.
Prof. Amal Shams, a professor at Ain Shams University and a certified trainer with the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education, will conduct the training during the course.
Prof. Nasser El Gizawy pointed out that these courses aim to enhance the efficiency and develop the capabilities and skills of faculty members in the field of strategic planning, self-evaluation of educational programs, program and course description, teaching strategies, effective teaching, external review of higher education institutions, examination systems, student assessment, and self-evaluation of the administrative apparatus.
He also mentioned that the university adopts a sustainable development policy and invests in human resources through continuous training, directing the use of these resources in quality assurance activities for institutional and program accreditation at the college and university levels, while also utilizing these resources in internal and external reviews to improve the educational process and monitor the application of quality education standards.
Prof. Mohamed Ghanem, Director of the Quality Assurance and Accreditation Center at the university, confirmed that the first training package began with the implementation of the "Strategic Planning for Colleges and Institutes of Higher Education" course today, Monday, which will last for two days. Twenty-five faculty members and several academic leaders from various colleges of the university are participating in this training package.
