Inauguration of the Basic Scouting Course at Benha University

Benha University, in collaboration with the Central Administration for Youth Development at the Ministry of Youth and Sports, launched the "Basic Scouting Course" at the Scouting and Guiding Training Center in Moshtohor.
This initiative is under the auspices of Prof. Nasser El Gizawy, President of Benha University, and Dr. Jehan Abdel Hadi, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research.
The course aims to train and refine the skills of scouting participants through the regional Girl Guides Association in Qalyubia, offering lectures on outdoor living skills, scouting traditions, communication skills, planning, reporting, record-keeping, and guiding traditions. A selection of leaders from the university's scouting and public service administration, as well as trainers from the regional Girl Guides Association in Qalyubia, conducted the training.
It is noteworthy that the Basic Scouting Course is part of the Ministry of Youth and Sport's efforts to expand scouting training centers in Egyptian universities, aiming to enhance the scouting movement and develop leadership skills among scouts within Egyptian universities.
