Vice President of Benha University for postgraduate Studies Received the Program Accreditation Team for the Faculty of Science

Under the auspices of Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of Benha University, Prof. Jehan Abdel Hady, Vice President for postgraduate Studies and Research, welcomed the external review team for program accreditation from the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education. The team is here to review and evaluate the programs of the Faculty of Science for program accreditation.
The meeting was attended by:
• Prof. Mohamed Heikal, Dean of the Faculty of Science,
• Prof. Mohamed Ghanem, Director of the Quality Assurance and Accreditation Center at the university,
• as well as the faculty's deputies,
• department heads, and
• Program coordinators.
Prof. Jehan Abdel Hady emphasized the university's commitment to forming partnerships with civil society institutions in various fields, providing scholarships for students and graduates, and maintaining continuous communication with community partners through regular employment forums and joint training to enhance practical skills. This aims to support and develop the educational process in line with quality standards to elevate and improve the institutional and academic reputation of the university.
The Vice President pointed out that the Faculty of Science is advancing for program accreditation for the Applied Chemistry program, adding that the university is keen to continue its efforts in applying all quality standards.
For his part, Prof. Mohamed Ghanem stated that the external review team will visit the faculty to assess practical practices, activities, and documentation related to program accreditation, and to conduct interviews with all targeted groups, including college leadership, program faculty, students, administrative staff, graduates, and community partners. They will also inspect the infrastructure, laboratories, workshops, and teaching halls.
It is noteworthy that the visit of the external review teams from the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education to the Faculty of Science will continue from February 16 to 18.
