Benha University Hosted Annual Visit of Quality and Occupational Safety Assessment Team

Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of Benha University, welcomed the assessment team for the quality system (ISO 9001:2015) and (ISO 45001:2018) from AGA, the certifying body for quality and occupational safety certificates, led by Prof. Mohamed Osman.

Purpose of the Visit
Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy stated that the visit aims to evaluate the performance of the quality, safety, and occupational health system at the university and to review how well the university's departments implement the documented procedures in the integrated quality, safety, and occupational health system designed for 24 general administrations. The goal is to ensure that these objectives are met.
Review Procedures
Prof. Abdelkader Abdel-Karim mentioned that the review team began their activities with an inspection tour of the university's administrative offices, followed by the review of the quality, safety, and occupational health system according to the previously set timetable. The evaluation visit will conclude with a final meeting to present the results, wishing the university success in obtaining the quality and occupational safety certificates.
Additional Information
It is noteworthy that the administrations of Benha University received the ISO 9001:2015 quality certificate and the ISO 45001:2018 occupational safety and health certificate in March 2023.
