During his presidency of the Benha University Council: "Prof. El-Gizawy" emphasizes providing a suitable study environment for students and adjusting schedules during Ramadan

The Benha University Council held its meeting this evening, chaired by Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of Benha University, with the attendance of Prof. El Sayed Fouda, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, Prof. Jehan Abdel-Hady, Vice President for postgraduate Studies and Research, and the esteemed members of the University Council.
Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy began the session by extending congratulations on behalf of the University Council to His Excellency Mr. President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan, wishing that it brings goodness, prosperity, and blessings to our beloved Egypt and the Islamic nation.
Prof. El-Gizawy praised the students who achieved advanced positions in various sports competitions, reflecting the university's significant interest in student activities in all their forms and encouraging students to develop their talents, supporting all outstanding and talented students in various fields and student activities, striving to graduate youth capable of achieving their goals.
The university president pointed out that the Professional Development Center at the university offers many opportunities for students and graduates to prepare them for the labor market, emphasizing its role in organizing various courses, events, and workshops to serve students and graduates, equipping them with the skills necessary for labor market requirements, contributing to opening professional pathways for them, in line with the university's commitment to developing students' capabilities and linking education to labor market needs.
Prof. El-Gizawy expressed his happiness at the Supreme Council of Universities praising Benha University's experience in establishing the "Bidaya" company, which aims to market scientific research outputs and link them to industry, and to provide consulting, design, and management services in the field of technology incubators and startups, according to the Science and Technology Incentives Law, as an effective step to achieve one of the state's objectives in the national strategy for higher education and scientific research.
During the session, Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy announced the Council's approval of the basic regulations for Benha Private University.
The university president directed the deans of the faculties to adjust the academic schedules during the holy month of Ramadan in accordance with the timeline for the second semester of the current academic year, as part of the university's commitment to combine efforts to provide a suitable study environment for students, positively reflecting on their academic and scientific levels.
Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy emphasized to the deans of faculties the use of the electronic book at the university as the sole source for providing scientific content to students, according to the rules established by the University Council, considering it one of the main elements of the educational process. It provides great flexibility in accessibility for students at any time and from anywhere, helping to save time and effort, while also supporting different learning styles through the use of multimedia, in line with the state's plan for digital transformation, sustainable development, and enhancing the quality of education, consistent with Egypt's Vision 2030.
