President of Benha University Received Members of the Veterinary Sector Committee of the Supreme Council of Universities

Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of Benha University, welcomed the members of the Veterinary Sector Committee of the Supreme Council of Universities, chaired by Prof. Gamal Sosa, former President of Benha University and head of the committee, along with Prof. Fikry Hussein, the committee's secretary, and other members. This meeting took place during the committee's session held at Benha University.
Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy expressed his warm welcome to the members of the Veterinary Sector Committee at the university, which includes distinguished experts from various institutions of higher education in the field of veterinary medicine. He conveyed his happiness in hosting the committee at Benha University.
He emphasized the role of the Veterinary Sector Committees within the Supreme Council of Universities as a fundamental pillar to ensure and develop the quality of veterinary education in Egypt. He noted that the university has introduced many new programs within the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, which consider modern changes in scientific disciplines and the needs of the job market.
For his part, Prof. Gamal Sosa affirmed that the committee is working on the regular review and development of curricula and educational programs to ensure they align with the latest scientific advancements and job market needs.
The committee contributes to evaluating the quality of veterinary education in Egyptian universities through field visits and assessing the performance of faculty members, curricula, and infrastructure, as well as enhancing collaboration among Egyptian universities in the field of veterinary medicine.
