Governor of Kalyobiya and President of Benha University Attended Al-Azhar's Annual Celebration "Prof. El Gizawy": Al-Azhar is the beacon of light that illuminates the world

Engineer Ayman Attia, Governor of Kalyobiya, and Professor Nasser El Gizawy, President of Benha University, attended the celebration of Al-Azhar in Kalyobiya for the annual day of Al-Azhar, coinciding with the opening of Al-Azhar Mosque and the 1085th anniversary of its establishment.
The event was attended by Professor Eman Rayan, Deputy Governor of Kalyobiya, Sheikh Said Ahmed Khidr, Head of the Central Administration of Al-Azhar in Kalyobiya, several members of the House of Representatives and Senate, as well as various executive, popular, and security leaders in the governorate, and a representative from the Egyptian Family House.
The celebration began with the recitation of the Holy Quran, followed by a speech from Sheikh Said Ahmed Khidr, who conveyed the greetings of His Eminence Prof. Ahmed Al-Tayyeb, Grand Imam of Al-Azhar, and congratulated all attendees on the occasion of Ramadan, praying for its blessings to return to everyone. This was followed by a speech from the Dean of the Faculty of Islamic and Arabic Studies for Girls at Al-Azhar University, along with remarks from representatives of Al-Azhar in Kalyobiya, a religious chanting segment, and several artistic performances.
The governor started his speech by congratulating Mr. President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and His Eminence Prof. Ahmed Al-Tayyeb on the occasion of the annual celebration of Al-Azhar Mosque. He also extended congratulations to the attendees for the holy month of Ramadan, emphasizing that Al-Azhar continues its historical role in spreading the culture of love, peace, and human coexistence. It welcomes students from all over the world to receive religious and worldly sciences from its esteemed scholars, who then return to their countries to spread the message of Islam and its teachings across the globe. Thus, Al-Azhar serves as a bridge for cultural exchange among all Islamic countries and enhances opportunities for communication and experience sharing among youth, helping to increase interaction between the new generations of Al-Azhar graduates and unify the visions of Islamic countries. He affirmed that Al-Azhar is one of the most important pillars for preserving Islamic identity and promoting peace and love.
On his part, Professor Nasser El Gizawy, President of Benha University, on behalf of the university's members, extended his warmest congratulations to His Eminence Prof. Ahmed Al-Tayyeb and all Al-Azhar staff on the occasion of the annual celebration of Al-Azhar Mosque and the 1085th anniversary of its establishment. He praised Al-Azhar's role in promoting moderation and spreading Islam throughout the world, noting that Al-Azhar is the beacon of light that illuminates the entire world.
