Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of Benha University, along with Prof. El-Sayed Fouda, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development, inaugurated the charity clothing exhibition for students organized by the Faculty of Specific Education in coordination with Al-Zahra Company for Supplies.
The event was attended by Prof. Hani Shehta, Dean of the Faculty of Specific Education, the faculty's deputies, Mrs. Sherine Shawky, Secretary-General of the University, and organized by Mrs. Rania Moataz, Assistant Secretary of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development, along with Mr. Ahmed Hassan, Chairman of Al-Zahra Company for Supplies, faculty members, and students. The exhibition will continue for three days.
Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy emphasized that Benha University is continuously working to enhance the concept of social solidarity and support students in need among its members, alleviating their financial burdens and those of their families. He noted that the exhibition featured approximately 2,500 pieces of clothing of various types.
Prof. El-Gizawy praised the level of the exhibition, highlighting the quality of the clothing and the prices displayed, which reflect the university administration's commitment to providing the best service to all students throughout the year.
Prof. El-Sayed Fouda stated that the clothing exhibition stems from the university's social responsibility, confirming that the university is keen to collaborate with civil society institutions to provide all forms of support to its students, noting that the exhibition witnessed a large turnout from students.
For his part, Prof. Hani Shehta mentioned that the prices of the displayed items range from 50 to 100 Egyptian pounds, with the proceeds from the sales designated to cover the expenses of students who are unable to pay.
