Results of the International Publication and Citation Competition for January 2025

Prof. Jehan Abdel Hady, Vice President of Benha University for postgraduate Studies and Research, announced that under the patronage of Prof. Nasser El Gizawy, President of Benha University, the technical committee for examining the scientific production of faculty members published in internationally classified journals has announced the results of the International Publication and Citation Competition for January 2025. This initiative aims to improve the outcomes of scientific research at the university and encourage faculty members to publish their research in global scientific journals.
The Vice President added that during this cycle, a total of 591 scientific papers were submitted to the International Publication Competition, distributed across 12 faculties: Commerce, Sports Science, Nursing, Computers and Artificial Intelligence, Agriculture, Medicine, Veterinary Medicine, Science, Physical Therapy, Engineering Shubra, Engineering Benha, and Applied Arts. Among these, 274 papers were classified as Q1, representing 46% of the total submissions, indicating the quality of the university's research output. Additionally, the number of Q2 papers increased to 169, along with 71 Q3 papers and 36 Q4 papers.
She noted that this cycle included 17 chapters from books published by international publishing houses and also featured 4 books. Furthermore, 183 faculty members participated in the Citation competition through Google Scholar.
