The College of Arts at Benha University organized a seminar titled "They Have Imprints: Mothers of Children with Special Needs Facing Challenges and Creating Hope."
This event was held under the patronage of Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of Benha University, Prof. El Sayed Fouda, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, and Prof. Amjad Hegazy, Dean of the College of Arts.
Prof. Sherine El-Shouri, Vice Dean of the College of Arts for Community Service and Environmental Development, stated that the seminar featured Prof. Nevin Abdel-Sabour, Director of the Women's Anti-Violence Unit, and was coordinated with Mrs. Rania Moataz, Assistant Secretary of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development.
The seminar addressed the psychological impact on mothers after their child's diagnosis, confronting social stigma, economic and social challenges faced by mothers, emotional burdens, family balance, the role of mothers in behavior modification, and mothers as advocates for their children's rights.
The seminar concluded with honoring the mothers of students with special needs, the champions who have achieved remarkable accomplishments for their children to reach the stage of university education.
