Benha University Organized a Simulation Model of the Egyptian House of Representatives

Prof. El-Gizawy: We aim to prepare young cadres capable of building the future.
Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of Benha University, witnessed the activities of the simulation model of the House of Representatives for university students, attended by Prof. Jehan Abdel-Hadi, Vice President of the University for postgraduate Studies and Research, along with several faculty members and student activity coordinators.
The simulation model reviewed several inquiries submitted by representatives, which were commented on by the relevant ministers. A number of representatives presented inquiries to the Ministers of Agriculture, Social Solidarity, Youth and Sports, and Housing.
Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy confirmed that the activities of the House of Representatives simulation aim to achieve a set of educational and cultural goals, the most important of which is to enhance political awareness among students. These activities help students and youth understand the role of the House of Representatives in the legislative and oversight process, thereby enhancing their awareness of the importance of parliamentary work, in addition to developing leadership skills. This is achieved by contributing to the preparation of young cadres capable of assuming leadership and executive positions in the future.
Prof. El-Gizawy pointed out that the activities also aimed to develop personal skills among students, such as public speaking, self-confidence, and effective expression of opinions, as well as encouraging community participation by training participants on how to engage effectively in local and international issues.
Furthermore, it also works to strengthen national belonging by instilling a spirit of loyalty and belonging to the homeland through understanding the role of governmental institutions in community development.
On another note, the council concluded its session by sending a message of support to Mr. President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and the policies of the Egyptian state at all local, regional, and international levels.
