Prof. El-Gizawy Congratulated Mr. President El Sisi on Eid al-Fitr

• Opening of the Surgery Building at the University Hospital Soon • Emphasis on the University's Role in Improving the Content of Egyptian Drama and Supporting Artistic Content that Enhances Positive Values
The Benha University Council held its meeting this evening, chaired by Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of Benha University, with the presence of Prof. El Sayed Fouda, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, Prof. Jehan Abdel Hadi, Vice President for postgraduate Studies and Research, and esteemed members of the university council.
Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy began the session by congratulating President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, on the occasion of the upcoming Eid al-Fitr, wishing that Allah brings these blessed days back to Egypt and the Arab nation with goodness, prosperity, and blessings. He also extended his congratulations to the members of the university council, faculty, staff, and students.
He also congratulated Prof. Mohamed Al-Ashhab, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, on the trust of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and the issuance of a presidential decree renewing his appointment as Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, wishing him continued success in his duties.
The university president reviewed the opening of the surgery building at the university hospital after its renovation following the Eid al-Fitr holiday. The renovation included increasing the number of beds, which will make a significant difference for patients visiting the university hospital. This aims to continue providing dignified medical services to the people of Qalyubia Governorate and neighboring provinces, in line with the Egyptian state's vision to improve the medical system in Egypt.
Prof. El-Giazawy directed the enhancement of the university's cultural salon's role by inviting specialists to discuss aspects of Egyptian identity, heritage, and societal values. This is part of the university's vision to promote cultural awareness and exchange among those with conscious cultural thought, passing it on to the promising youth to enrich their ideas and enhance their dialogue skills.
Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy emphasized the necessity for the university to play a role in improving the content of Egyptian drama by supporting student activities, the "Dew Drops" choir, university theater groups, and folk arts, as well as supporting artistic content that enhances positive values to ensure the dissemination of authentic societal values among students and to contribute to establishing the role of art and culture as a mainstay for societal renaissance.
He reviewed the issuance of more than 50 work orders for the maintenance of university facilities at a cost of up to 50 million Egyptian pounds as part of the annual maintenance plan to optimally benefit from them, develop university facilities, and follow the path of vital projects to achieve sustainability and maximize the university's resources.
