Benha University President inaugurates the 8th Annual Conference at Faculty of Agriculture

Dr. Nasser El Gizawy, President of Benha University and Dr. Ali Shams El Din, the former President of Benha University, inaugurated the eighth annual conference of the Faculty of Agriculture under the title "Sustainable Development and the Future of Agriculture between Climate Change and the Challenges of Exploiting Environmental Resources” .
The Conference was held in presence of Dr. Mahmoud Al-Zablawy, The Faculty of Agriculture dean, the deputies , professors, number of company representatives and specialists in the agricultural field. For his part, El-Gizawy emphasized that the Faculty of Agriculture is an academic community rich in expertise across all agricultural disciplines, noting that the conference represents an opportunity to show the Faculty of Agriculture academic activities across all sectors and improve its outcomes, in addition to exchanging expertise among specialists and academics within the Faculty.El-Gizawy pointed out that Faculty of Agriculture adopts numbers of new programs.
It is also considered one of the top 500 faculties worldwide according to the Shanghai rankings, and it has also been ranked among the best faculties in the Life Sciences rankings according to the British Times rankings. Faculty of Agriculture also includes researchers from the top 2% globally according to a Stanford University study. For his part, Dr. Mahmoud El-Zablawy stated that the Faculty has witnessed a leap forward in education, research, and society as a result of the cooperation and direct support provided by the University to operate as an integrated system.
He also emphasized that the conference title aligns with the state's plan for sustainable development, and that the Faculty's regulations have been developed to align with the state's policy and strategic plan.
