El-Gizawy inaugurates the 2nd Flower Exhibition at Benha University

Dr. Nasser El Gizawy, President of Benha University and Dr. Sayed Fouda, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, inaugurated the second edition of the Flower Exhibition, which was organized by the Community Service and Environmental Development Sector.
This event was attended by Dr. Mahmoud Al-Zablawy, Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture in Mashtohar, Dr. Reda Abdel Halim, Dean of the Faculty of Law, and the Faculty of Agriculture deputies .
The Exhibition was held under the supervision of Dr. Ahmed Saeed, Professor at the Faculty of Agriculture in Mashtohar and it was organized by Ms. Rania Moataz, Assistant Secretary-General of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, a number of faculty members and the University students'. The University president and his companions inspected the exhibition pavilions, which included many different and varied flower plants, natural roses, medicinal and aromatic plants, seedlings, ornamental plants of all kinds, agricultural raw materials and supplies, with the participation of The Faculty of Agriculture and a number of exhibitors. For his part, Dr. Nasser El Gizawy said that the flower exhibition which organized by the university is a unique opportunity for its staff and citizens to learn about the various types of fruit trees and plants.
He also pointed out that the exhibition aims to raise awareness of the importance of the 100 Million Tree Initiative and the importance of trees in our daily lives, in preserving and beautifying the environment to mitigate climate change, and he praised the organization of the exhibition, too. On the other hand, Dr. Sayed Fouda added that the aim of the exhibition is to develop the general sense of students and spread the culture of afforestation and awareness of how to choose the appropriate species according to each place and how to plant them and ways to care for them, and to market and sell the exhibition products to the university community and the outside community at reasonable prices.
