Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy congratulated Mr. President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi on the occasion of Labor Day celebrations and confirms the completion of preparations for the second semester exams.

Benha University Council held its meeting chaired by Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of Benha University, with the attendance of Prof. El-Sayed Foda, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, Prof. Jehan Abdel Hadi, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research, and the esteemed members of the University Council.
Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy began the session by extending congratulations on behalf of the University Council to His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and the Egyptian people on the occasion of Labor Day celebrated on May 1st. He wished for Egypt to remain safe and secure, expressing respect and appreciation for the workers of Egypt for their efforts and active role in driving comprehensive development in all areas of work and production.
During the session, Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy reviewed the cooperation protocol between the university and Hurgada University in the field of practical training for students, joint scientific research, supervision of theses, exchange of scientific expertise, investment in knowledge, and collaboration in launching joint research competitions and graduation projects for undergraduate students, as well as forming joint research teams to provide applied research at local, regional, and international levels.
He also discussed the contract signed between Bidaya Company for marketing services of Benha University and Hurgada University for designing the visual identity of Hurgada University.
the university president reviewed several topics approved by the Supreme Council of Universities, including the unification of the name of the departments of curricula and teaching methods in physical education colleges under the title of "Curricula and Teaching Methods of Physical Education" in Egyptian universities.
He also mentioned the addition and commencement of studies for the new Bachelor of Arts program in "Media Platforms" as a fee-based program with an approved credit-hour system at the Faculty of Arts, and the addition of a new professional diploma program in applied microbiology and biochemistry as a fee-based program in the internal regulations for the postgraduate stage with a credit-hour system at the Faculty of Science, along with the approval of its academic plan.
The university president discussed preparations for the second semester exams by ensuring all logistical services are in place to guarantee safe and orderly conduct of the exams, providing a secure physical and psychological environment for students to take their exams without any issues or obstacles.
Prof. El-Gizawy directed the deans of the faculties to continuously monitor the examination process and to be present among the students to address their questions and inquiries. He emphasized the necessity for the presence and punctuality of invigilators in the examination halls well before the examination process begins.
He also called for a state of emergency in the medical administration and clinics within the faculties, ensuring that all medical staff are present in the clinics and that medications and first aid supplies are available to address any emergencies during the exams.
