"The Fifth Industrial Revolution: Theory and Practice”.. Seminar at Benha University

Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of Benha University, inaugurated the activities of the seminar "The Fifth Industrial Revolution: Theory and Practice," organized by the Center for the Care of Talented and Creative Individuals at Benha University in collaboration with the initiative "Engineers for Sustainable Egypt" at the university's campus in Al-Obour City. This event is part of the protocol between Benha University, represented by the Center for the Care of Talented and Creative Individuals, and the initiative "Engineers for Sustainable Egypt."
The seminar was attended by Engineer Mohamed Kamel, President of the "Engineers for Sustainable Egypt" initiative, Prof. Hazem Aliwa, Academic Director of the university's Al-Obour campus, Dr. Mona Nasr, Director of the Center for the Care of Talented and Creative Individuals, and Prof. Mohamed Said, Engineering Consultant to the President of the University.
Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy stated that we are currently living in a new phase of human development, where technology intersects with humanity, and artificial intelligence becomes a partner in creativity and development.
He added that the Fifth Industrial Revolution represents a qualitative leap that surpasses its predecessors by focusing on humans and sustainability, harnessing technology to serve human well-being. He emphasized that it relies on integrating human capabilities with modern technologies such as artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things, and robotics to find ethical and comprehensive solutions to global challenges.
Prof. El-Gizawy affirmed the role of universities as major beacons for community service and achieving progress and prosperity for individuals, highlighting the significant role the university plays in building ideas and minds through education and scientific research processes.
He urged students to build their capabilities and enhance their awareness of new applications and to benefit from them in their lives to build a better future.
