Engineer Ayman Atya, Governor of Kalyobiya, and Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of Benha University, inaugurated the wheat harvest season and production units at the Faculty of Agriculture in Moshtohor.

• Prof. El Sayed Fouda, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development,
• Prof. Mahmoud El-Zablawi, Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture in Moshtohor,
• Prof. Ihab Farid, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, and
• Mrs. Rania Moataz, Assistant Secretary of the University for Community Service, along with several faculty members.
The Governor of Kalyobiya and the University President listened to a detailed explanation from the Dean of the Faculty regarding the wheat harvest season in the college's farms, where the area planted with wheat is approximately 30 acres.
Engineer Ayman Atya emphasized the governorate's interest in the wheat harvest season, stating that the total amount supplied so far has reached 21,164 tons. He pointed out that there are daily and continuous follow-ups on the ground to ensure the regularity of the supply process and to provide the necessary support and facilities to farmers until the harvest season is completed, in order to achieve the targeted goals in accordance with the directives of the political leadership in this regard. He noted that the supply process is considered a national mission, affirming that he will not allow any negligence or shortcoming in the supply process, urging all farmers to commit to supplying wheat to the designated silos and stores for the public good. He reiterated that the state pays great attention to the wheat supply process and spares no effort in providing support and facilities to farmers to improve their living and economic standards.
Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy indicated that the wheat crop has been harvested over an area of 30 acres, which included the cultivation of the Giza 171 variety for producing genetically selected and technically improved wheat seeds, aiming to meet the local market's needs for high-quality seeds and provide a suitable crop for the Egyptian market. He confirmed that Benha University is keen to fulfill its service and community role and support the state's plan to provide strategic commodities and contribute to food security, in addition to linking scientific research with the actual needs of society and solving problems in industry and agriculture.
Prof. El Sayed Fouda stated that the cultivation of several important strategic crops within the farms of the Faculty of Agriculture, including wheat and rice, along with the introduction of new crops that contribute to increasing local production, comes as part of the university's role in serving the local community and the people of Kalyobiya.
