Governor of Kalyobiya and President of Benha University Attended Seminar on "Intellectual Construction and Correcting Concepts"

Eng. Ayman Attia, Governor of Kalyobiya, and Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of Benha University, attended the educational seminar organized by Benha University in cooperation with the Kalyobiya Governorate under the title "Intellectual Construction and Correcting Concepts."
This event was attended by:
• Prof. El Sayed Fouda, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development,
• Prof. Jehan Abdel Hady, Vice President of the University for Postgraduate Studies and Research,
• the Secretary General of Kalyobiya Governorate,
• the Assistant Secretary,
• the Director of Military Education at the university,
• the General Coordinator of Student Activities at the university,
• representatives from the Ministry of Awqaf, Al-Azhar,
• Youth and Sports, Education,
• church representatives, and
• The head of the Human Rights Unit in the governorate.
Eng. Ayman Attia pointed out that the initiative for intellectual construction and correcting concepts aims to establish effective and fruitful communication with youth of all age groups across various platforms where they gather. This is through active participation from many important institutions in Kalyobiya Governorate, primarily Benha University, which has taken an interest in this initiative and assigned specialists from the Faculties of Arts and Computer Science to develop a comprehensive action plan to serve the students of Benha University and the entire governorate. This also includes participation from various state institutions, headed by the Central Region of Al-Azhar, the Kalyobiya Directorate of Awqaf, the Egyptian Family House represented by the church, the Directorate of Youth and Sports, the Directorate of Education, and the Human Rights Unit in the governorate.
The Governor of Kalyobiya stated that the initiative will traverse the governorate through its elements and cadres to fulfill its mission of awareness and protecting our youth as a productive force in serving the citizens and youth of the governorate, in line with the principles of sustainable development and Egypt's Vision 2030.
Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy stated that the world is witnessing many social and cultural changes that pose significant challenges to third-world societies striving to preserve their social and cultural identity and value system. Therefore, Egyptian state institutions are making considerable efforts to maintain social cohesion and the solidity of the intellectual construction, which is the primary support for societal stability and the efficiency of its institutions. He emphasized that the intellectual construction of society is fundamentally based on a system of religious, social, and cultural concepts that represent the essential tributaries of this construction, giving it a distinctive character that reflects the social and cultural identity of the community.
Prof. El-Gizawy added that these concepts have recently been subjected to attempts at distortion aimed at creating doubt and mistrust in the social, cultural, and religious values governing the Egyptian personality throughout history. This is done through new tools and methods that align with current realities, particularly the growth of social media and the extensive use of internet technologies, which aim to corrupt the minds of a significant segment of society, namely the youth, whom the state seeks to maximize their contribution to efforts for construction and development.
In light of the awareness of the importance of protecting youth from misleading ideological attacks aimed at diverting them toward the demands of sickly religious, social, and political ideologies, it is worth noting that Eng. Ayman Attia, Governor of Kalyobiya, has formed a committee headed by Major General Tarek Maher, the Assistant Secretary of the Governorate, to promote intellectual construction and correct concepts among youth. This committee includes many specialists in confronting misguided ideologies to educate youth on ways to combat this thinking and protect individuals and society from the negative effects of this kind of thought, which could reach the level of atheism.
