Workshop on Human Rights Implement for Prisoners at Benha University

"Implement of Human Rights Principles Regarding Prisoners'Rights During the Enforcement of Sentences" was the title of a workshop organized by the Human Rights Unit at the Community Service and Environmental Development Sector of Benha University, held at the Faculty of Law.
This event was under the auspices of Prof. Nasser El Gizawy, President of the University, Prof. El Sayed Foda, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, Prof. Reda Abdel Halim, Dean of the Faculty of Law, and Prof. Mohamed Al-Ma'adaoui, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Law for Community Service and Environmental Development.
The seminar featured Prof. Mahmoud Abdel Ghani Farid, Professor and Head of the Criminal Law Department at the Faculty of Law at Benha University and Director of the Human Rights Center at the university, in coordination with Mrs. Rania Moataz, Assistant Secretary of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development.
The workshop included a discussion session aimed at raising awareness among students in the English Legal Studies Division at the Faculty of Law about the fundamental principles of human rights in the Egyptian constitution and international charters, as well as the application of human rights principles concerning prisoners' rights during the enforcement of sentences.
