President of Benha University Participated in the Global Conference on Digital Education in China

"Prof. El-Gizawy" is keen on opening new horizons for scientific and research cooperation with Chinese universities.
Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of Benha University, participated in the activities of the Global Conference on Digital Education for the year 2025, titled "Developing Education and Transitioning to the Era of Intelligence," held in Hubei Province, Wuhan, Central China.
This event was attended by the Minister of Education of the People's Republic of China, Kwai Jin Peng, and more than 1,000 participants from various countries around the world, representing all types of educational institutions, whether for higher education or pre-university education, as well as companies operating in the field of education.
Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy stated that his participation in the Global Conference on Digital Education in China is part of Benha University's prominent role in enhancing cooperation with Chinese universities, emphasizing the university's commitment to openness to the world and international universities. This opens new avenues for scientific and research cooperation in various fields, expressing his happiness to participate in this international event.
The Global Conference on Digital Education is held in Wuhan, Central China, and is co-hosted by the Chinese Ministry of Education, its National Commission for UNESCO, and the People's Government of Wuhan Municipality. The event lasts for three days, from May 14 to 16, 2025.
The conference focused on issues such as digital literacy for teachers, digitization of education, digital ethics, digital governance in education, and the opportunities and challenges facing digital education.
The conference aims to embody characteristics of leadership, global reach, inclusivity, and sustainability in education, working with governments, universities, schools of all kinds, international organizations, relevant NGOs, companies, and other stakeholders in education to explore innovations in digital education across all stages of "education - learning - management - evaluation - research," contributing to achieving the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
The Global Conference on Digital Education aims to respond to UN initiatives regarding the global transformation of education and calls for collective efforts to enhance the development and transformation of education in the era of intelligence.
