Benha University participated in the main research activities of the Military Research Authority

In light of the General Command of the Armed Forces' commitment to fostering cultural and national awareness among the Egyptian community, the Civil and Military Defense Forces invited a delegation from Benha University, led by Prof. Jehan Abdel-Hady, Vice President for postgraduate Studies and Research, to participate in the main research activities of the Military Research Authority titled "The National Strategy to Address the Impact of International and Regional Conflicts on Egyptian Interests in Africa." This initiative aligns with the General Command of the Armed Forces' efforts to enhance cultural and national awareness among Egyptians.
The event was attended by General Abd El-Majid Saqr, the Commander of the Armed Forces and Minister of Defense and Military Production, General Ahmed Khalifa, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, along with several ministers, leaders of the main branches, military leaders, strategic experts, thinkers, media personnel, and students from Benha University and other Egyptian universities.
The activities commenced with a speech by the President of the Military Research Authority, who expressed gratitude to the General Command of the Armed Forces for providing all forms of support to elevate the research level within the armed forces. He emphasized the importance of research in preparing a proposal for a national strategy to confront challenges and threats to Egypt's national interests.
The research was prepared by a group of strategic experts and researchers in the field of national security, discussing the impact on Egyptian interests across various fields within the African continent. It concluded with several recommendations and proposed mechanisms to safeguard Egypt's national security in light of international and regional changes.
At the end of the research, General Abd El-Majid Saqr conveyed the greetings and appreciation of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, to the attendees, praising the efforts put into the research and its importance in supporting and developing Egypt's comprehensive power. He emphasized the necessity of adopting the latest scientific methods to address these challenges.
