Prof. Nasser El Gizawy, President of Benha University, held a meeting with the engineering administration officials at the university to discuss and monitor the engineering projects listed for implementation.
This meeting was attended by:
• Prof. Mohamed Said, the engineering advisor to the president of the university,
• Mrs. Sherin Shawky, Secretary-General of the university,
• Mr. Mohamed Diab, Assistant Secretary for Financial Affairs,
• The General Director of the Engineering Administration.
The president emphasized that the meeting focused on discussing ongoing works and those included in the plan, along with replacement, development, and maintenance works across various faculties and units of the university. It also addressed plans for expanding the university's infrastructure and ensuring a better educational environment for students, noting that the engineering administration is responsible for planning and executing engineering projects at the university.
Prof. Nasser El Gizawy highlighted his commitment to monitoring performance indicators within the engineering administration, stressing the need for efficiency, adherence to project timelines, and quality in execution and final finishes, as well as necessary preparations for facilities according to approved specifications while considering safety and occupational health conditions.
The president pointed out that these infrastructure projects reflect an investment in the university's future, helping to attract more students and researchers and enhancing the university's standing in the community. He emphasized the importance of strengthening cooperation between senior management and the engineering administration to ensure projects are implemented efficiently and effectively.
